Lists, not scores
Nothing here is marked out of five. You put a place in your own list — your pubs, your pizza, your cocktail bars — by answering one question: would you send a friend here? Then it’s a quick comparison against somewhere you’ve already been, or a drag into position. A ranking you’d stand behind, rather than a number you picked in three seconds.
People with your taste, not the crowd’s
Savourd works out whose taste lines up with yours from the places you have both reviewed, then ranks the ones you haven’t tried by how likely you are to love them. It needs about 5 reviews before that means anything — the overlap has to exist before it can be measured.
A map, a want-to-try list, and your bests
The map pins everywhere worth knowing about, shaded by how well it matches you. “Want to try” holds the places you keep meaning to get to. Your bests are the places you rate top in a category — the ones you name when somebody asks.
Manchester, and only Manchester
Savourd covers Manchester and nowhere else for now. A recommendation engine is only as good as the overlap between the people using it, and that overlap is built one city at a time. If you’re somewhere else, there is nothing here for you yet — that is the honest answer.
